BJ Motors is proud to offer this Competition Coupe, Chassis #51. They don't get any better than this 2005 World Challenge Competition Coupe! This car has never experienced an accident and everything under the car's frame is original. Below is a list of races and accomplishments!
In 2016, Comp Coupe #51 entered into (3) SCCA Club racing National events. They added 170 lbs of ballast and a 52mm restrictor plate to the engine that made it eligible for the Touring 1 class.
January:
Autoclub Speedway, California. Saturday: 1st place and new track record. Sunday (Heavy Rain): 1st place, 54 sec margin of victory.
February:
Willowsprings Raceway, California. Saturday: 1st Place. Sunday: 1st Place and new track record.
September:
Mid Ohio Sports car course, Ohio. This was the Championship Runoffs event. Chasssis #51 had the fastest lap time in all 4 days of Qualifying. 1st place by about 10 sec and a new track record. Unfortunately due to this performance the 2017 rules where changed so as to not included the Comp Coupe in the T1 class. It is however still eligible to compete in the GT2 and GT1 classes.
