1970 Challenger T/A - Call for Pricing
| 66,131 miles | Details
Car was restored in September 2005. No evidence of rust repair or body filler or frame repair. The floor in trunk was replaced, driver door opens with key, passenger does not. Underside of body is beautifully factory finished, completed with sound deadener (this was coded on broadcast sheet as J55) Factory Broadsheet Sheet, Orginal Fender Tag, Original plates and license plate brackets from selling dealer. All original with the exception of the six pack set up was installed for use in daily driving, original setup included in the sale. Correct Dog Dish Wheels, window glass date correct, added passenger mirror not original. Great turn key car, starts first time, idles very well, good oil pressure, water temperature. No valve chatter or exhaust leaks. Faults: These are typical of cars not driven: Slight drip of oil, headlight dimmer switch, reverse lights do not engage, slap stick shifter needs adjusting. More >

1970 Challenger T/A - Miles - 66,161/ 340 6 Pack, Power steering, drivetrain - RWD 3:55 Sure-Grip FY1 Top Banana Yellow matching body and drivetrain numbers.
This one was ordered as wild as they come. Limelight paint gleams in glowing contrast to the signature blackout hood and strobe stripes. She was ordered with one intent in mind and it wasn't a road course. The motor is original and the Slapstick automatic isn't and that is no mystery the original owner went drag racing.
It's been a long time since her first life as a street driven drag star, terrorizing Mustangs from light to light. Restored in 2005 to the beautiful driveable condition you see before you, she is documented by the orginal window sticker, co-orelating body stamps and original fender tag. Typical of most "E" bodies, she received new quarter skins during her make over on an otherwise rust-free body. Mechanically, she is road ready, all accessories are in working order with the possible acception to the wiper motor (which are notorious for being bad right out of the restoration box).
I have personally viewed, photographed and driven this vehicle. Below you will find a complete fender tag decode. Additonal photos are available upon request. If you are looking for a drivable AAR in a high-impact color you can actually afford to enjoy, this is it! |
